Earlier this year, some news pages featured the entry of promising new robot vacuum cleaner .Today, we bring to you some of the top names in the industry.

iRobot Roomba

We start with the current king of the hill. Recording a strong performance last year and even breaching and setting a 5 million milestone earlier this year, iRobot and its Roomba is well-entrenched in the industry that created all by itself. It can navigate through a very narrow and circuitous route and  thoroughly clean every nook and cranny of your floor.

Neato XV11

Neato Robotics entered the robot vacuum cleaner market late last year through its revolutionary-shaped XV11. Unlike the round-shaped Roomba, the XV11 has a rectangular-shaped front. According to the folks at Neato, this shape will enable the XV11 to clean corners better than the leading brand. The XV11 features a more systematic parallel motion (as opposed to the random-looking movement of the Roomba).

Samsung Hauzen

Guided by two twin cameras, the Hauzen is able to “see” obstacles. It balances precariously on a bench. It avoids getting tangled with a wire on the floor.

Evolution Mint

There’s one more robot vacuum cleaner that introduced itself to the public earlier this year – the Evolution Mint.
