It’s as if the critics of the iPad 2 case don’t seem to grasp the concept of a tablet device that provides all day battery life and half the weight and twice the battery life of most tablet PCs.
Furthermore, if anyone has so much as touched a netbook lately they’d realize that they are a sordid pathetic lot without hours of modification and tinkering to make them halfway useable. Even then it does not change the cold hard fact that the Atom is a subpar processor in all forms both past and present. It doesn’t even change the fact that you are largely stuck with Intel integrated graphics. Anyone who proposes life with the GMA950 or x3150 is a fool and anyone willing to pony up on a crippled processor attached to switchable graphics is doubly so.
Sure the iPad 2 case has flaws, but then again so do most devices and products out of the gate. I mean, just look at the pathetic touch support in Windows 7. HP had to scrap the Slate and buy Palm in order to avoid putting out a product with a subpar Windows or Android based operating system.
